Cure for a rainy day...

The new year has started out cold and dreary, but it has been wonderful to have an excuse to hide away and just enjoy a few simple things, like candles that smell wonderful and a good book in lovely surroundings. The book shown below was a Christmas present ~ it’s pretty fabulous, too. A great way to spend an afternoon.

After a nice long holiday break, I have to return to work tomorrow. As much as I have enjoyed the rest and lack of structure, it will be nice to get back to a routine.
